Text:
There's a monster on the staircase
And he's coming right for me
He's a green and purple monster
'Bout as scary as can be
And I know he'll never find me
If I hide behind my door
'Cause he's not so smart a monster
And I tricked him once before!

There's a Monster in the bathroom
Trying hard to brush his teeth
But he doesn't see me watching
From the bed I'm underneath
Just another silly Monster
Who is brushing side to side
Pretty soon the Monster Dentist
Will tell him to open wide!

Text:
And I'm pretty sure the Monsters
Are afraid of Mommy too
They think that if she finds them
They'll wind up in monster stew!
But I think my Mom's got other
plans
For this old Monster troop
She'd throw in some tomatoes
And cook up a Monster soup!

Text:
There's a Monster in the bathtub
And he's in for a surprise
Cause he put in too much bubbles
And they're getting in his eyes
Now he's in bubble trouble
And he's crying monster tears
And I'll bet that he'll forget
To wash behind his Monster ears.
